4 Months To Go - Time to Kick It.

 3 days of 12 mi. rucks in Sunset Beach - there are worse ways to spend your time! Sunset Beach, NC -  With just four months left for training, it's time to get serious about my schedule.    Coach Jeff and I worked out a plan to increase my rucking mileage by one mile per training block.  Each training block consists of t hree days straight of running/rucking with 25 lbs, so typically a Sat/Sun/Mon or Sun/Mon/Tues.   I've got to get used to the soreness of strapping on the rucksack and just going.  And this only happens with consistency and practice.   So all my other workouts have to take a back seat to this schedule, but of course, there are other events such as the Frosty Fifty next week week (Jan. 3), the Mt. Afton Challenge the week after, and the F3 Gremlin Event (a four hour boot camp) at the end of January.    Plus my regular workouts with Jeff and swimming workouts during the week...and being present for my family and ...

  What:   The Kannonball 24 31 When: 12/11 1500 to 12/12 2200 Where: Kannon AO Who: Anvil, Catfish, Chicken Strip, Cupid, Hipbone, Homeland, Java, Loafer, Luthor, Mountie, Minivan, Philly Special, Gunny, Phidippedes,Scooter, Shooter, Sir Topham, Heatstroke, Mrs. Phidip, Total Package, Tiny Savage, The Burgh, Snowman, Fire Chicken, Monty Python and I forgot two other PAX.   The Thang Start at 3 pm Friday at the Kannon AO.    Run, ruck, walk, or limp a 1.5 mile loop.   Take a mandatory break from 10 pm to 5 am.   Return then rinse and repeat until 10 pm Saturday. Moleskin YHC apologizes in advance for any omissions and lack of clarity..still trying to find the final tally but the top three are pretty clear.
